Quality Management

The purpose of the Quality Management (QM) Program is to meet the quality management expectations of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Modernization Act of 2006, which are;
1) Assess the extent to which HIV health services are consistent with the most recent Public Health Service (PHS) guidelines for the treatment of HIV disease and related opportunistic infections; and
2) Develop strategies for ensuring that such services are consistent with the guidelines for improvement in the access to and quality of HIV services.

The QM Program is key in the TGA and will provide vital information to the planning council for use in prioritizing services and allocating funding, and the grantee and service providers to improve access to care, service delivery, quality of care and health outcomes.
